Mini Bucks
Miniatures is a small breeding and showing facility located in Northwest
Illinois. It started with just one miniature horse, GFH I’m All Aces.
Of course we didn’t want him to be lonely so we bought another one to keep
him company. He was GHF Poker Chip. The next thought was, “Wouldn’t
it be fun to have a foal?”, so we bought Westwinds Easter Lily, Ace’s Mom
who was bred. From then on we were hooked! Ace went to his
first show a week before he was three months old, winning second place.
The next year we took him to the same show where he was Grand Champion.
He went on that year to become Reserve National Champion Gelding, National
Champion All Star Gelding, 1995 Hall of Fame and 1995 National Champion
Liberty Horse. Since that time, we have grown ! We usually
have between 25 and 30 horses of all colors and types. We have AMHA
and AMHR, A Division and B Division. Our herd consists of pinto, buckskin,
palomino,red roan, cremello and black. Mini Bucks Miniatures is very excited
to be coming into the wonderful world of overo by purchasing Neon.
We think he will add even more color to our already colorful herd!
We are dedicated to producing the most correct, colorful horses we can
with emphasis on beautiful heads and top quality temperaments. To
us it is very important that our horses convey the loving, affectionate
attitude that is the Miniature Horse. We are very serious about our
horses and our breeding program, but we also love to have fun with them!
